Xbox: How to host an Xbox Live game in Spy vs Spy (894601)

Spy vs Spy is an Xbox Live Aware title. This means that the game automatically signs you in to Xbox Live when the game starts.

Host a game

1. On the Main screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) up or down to select Multiplayer, and then press the A button.
2. On the Multiplayer screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button.
3. On the Xbox Live screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Create Match, and then press the A button to view the Create Xbox Live Game screen.

Create a game session

When you create a game session, you become the host player, and you configure the properties for the match.

1. On the Create Xbox Live Game screen, press the D-pad up or down to select from the following options, and then press the D-pad left or right to select the setting that you want for the each option:
   • Game Type: Modern, Classic, Death Match, Last Man Standing, Armed & Loaded, Get Mad
   • Map: Select from one of the 23 available maps
   • Cycle Maps: Off, On
   • Player Names: Off, On
   • Private Game: Off On
   • Weapon Options:
     • Club: On, Off
     • Chainsaw: On, Off
     • Knight's Helmet: On, Off
   • Game Variants:
     • Secret Items: 1 - 4
     • Boxing Gloves: Infinite, 0
     • Flambe Traps: Infinite, 0
     • Acid Traps: Infinite, 0
     • Room Traps: Infinite, 0
     • Time Limit: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 minutes
     • Health Dispensers: None, Few, Many
     • Counter Dispensers: None, Few, Many
     • Initially Trapped Rooms: None, Few, Many
     • Use Briefcase: Off, On
2. After you select the options that you want, press the D-pad up or down to select Start!, and then press the A button to start the game.

Invite a Friend

1. On the Game screen, press the START button to view the Pause screen.
2. On the Pause screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button.
3. On the Xbox Live screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Friends, and then press the A button.
4. On the Friends screen, press the D-pad up or down to select a friend, and then press the A button to view the Individual Friend Option screen.
5. On the Individual Friend Option screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Invite Friend, and then press the A button to send a game invitation to your Friend.
