Xbox: How to join an Xbox Live game in Spy vs Spy (894600)

Spy vs Spy is an Xbox Live Aware title. This means that the game automatically signs you in to Xbox Live when the game starts.

Join a game

1. On the Main screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) up or down to select Multiplayer, and then press the A button.
2. On the Multiplayer screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button.
3. On the Xbox Live screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Quick Match or OptiMatch, and then press the A button.

Quick Match

With the Quick Match option, you can search for a game and then immediately join the game or search for another game.

1. After you select Quick Match from the Xbox Live screen, the game immediately starts searching for a game to play.
   • If a game is found, the Lobby screen lists the game information. Press the A button to join the game.
   • If no game is found, you receive the following message: No matches found.
2. Press the Y button to create a session, or press the B button to return to the Xbox Live screen.

OptiMatch

With the OptiMatch option, you can specify your game preferences and then search for games that match those preferences.

1. On the OptiMatch screen, press the D-pad up or down to select from the following options, and then press the D-pad left or right to select a setting for each option:
   • Game Type:
     
     Any Game Type, Modern, Classic, Death Match, Last Man Standing, Armed & Loaded, Get Mad
   • Map:
     • Modern, Death Match, Last Man Standing, Armed & Loaded, Get Mad:
       
       Any Map, Mansion, Kooky Carnival, Robot Factory, Oil Rig, Haunted House, Volcano Lair, Area 51, Space Station
     • Classic:
       
       Any Map, Classic 5 - 20 Rooms
2. After you configure your options, press the D-pad up or down to select Find Session, and then press the A button to search for a game.
3. If any games are found, press the D-pad up or down to select the game you want to join, and then press the A button to join that game.
   
   If no games are found, press the Y button to create a match, or press the B button to return to the OptiMatch screen.
