Xbox: How to host an Xbox Live game in Project Snowblind (894598)

Project Snowblind is an Xbox Live Aware game. An Xbox Live Aware game automatically signs you in to Xbox Live when the game starts.

Host a game

  1. On the Main screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button.
  2. On the Xbox Live screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Create Match, and then press the A button to view the Host screen.

Create a game session

When you create a game session, you become the host player, and you configure the properties for the match.

On the Host screen, press the D-pad up or down to select one of the following options, and then press the A button to view the settings for the option.
  • Select Map

  • Game Options
    For more information, see the "Game Options" section.

Select Map

  1. On the Select Map screen, press the D-pad up or down to select one of the following maps, and then press the A button:

    Wanchai Sewers, Downtown Sai Kung, Two Martinis, Hwa-Guang Prison, Lantau Wasteland, Tonnochi Tower, Enlighten Path, Kowloon Garage, Ashoka's Garden

  2. After you select the map that you want, press the B button to return to the Host screen.

Game options

  1. On the Game Options screen, press the D-pad up or down to select one of the following options, and then press the D-pad left or right to select the setting that you want for that option.
    • Game Type: Capture The Flag, Fast Flag Capture, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Hunter, Tactical Assault, Demolition, Quick Demolition
    • Arms Race Mod: On, Off
    • Game Layout: All, Agent, Berserker, Grunt, Heavy, Sniper, Scout
    • Time Limit: 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes, Infinite
    • Score Limit: 1 - 20
    • Max Players: 4, 8, 12, 16
    • Friendly Fire: On, Off
    • Session Type: Public, Private
  2. After you configure your options, press the D-pad up or down to select Accept Changes, and then press the A button to view the Lobby screen.
  3. On the Lobby screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Start Game, and then press the A button to start the game.

Invite a friend

  1. On the Lobby screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Access Friends List, and then press the A button.
  2. On the Access Friends List screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Browse Friends List, and then press the A button.
  3. On the Friends List screen, press the D-pad up or down to select a friend, and then press the Y button to send a game invitation to your friend.
