• After you install this security update, you cannot open Microsoft Publisher 2.0 publications in Publisher 2003. If you try to open a Publisher 2.0 file in Publisher 2003, you receive the following error message:
  Publisher cannot open this file. This file was saved from a previous version of Publisher. Publisher no longer supports files that were saved in this version.
• If you do not have Publisher 2003 installed, Microsoft Update or Office Update may still offer this update. For more information about why you may be offered to install this update, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
