SYMPTOMS
When you use the Evntcmd.exe command-line
tool to configure the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) event
translator, you may receive an error message that is similar to the
following:
[Wrn03] syntax [1:5]: Wrong or missing
'EventID' parameter.
This issue may occur when you use the following
method:
- You use the Event
to Trap Translator (Evntwin.exe) tool to export a .cnf
event file.
- You use the Evntcmd.exe command-line tool with the -v switch to parse the event file.

latest service pack for Microsoft Windows Server 2003. For more information,
