The Flight Video does not play back correctly in Flight Simulator 2002 or in Flight Simulator 2004 - A Century of Flight (893686)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you try to play back a Flight Video that you recorded in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 or in Microsoft Simulator 2004 - A Century of Flight, the Flight Video loops continuously repeating the ending of the recording.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you do not save the flight that you have just recorded. If you do not save the flight, the recording does not have the required information to play back the Flight Video.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, save the flight that you have just recorded. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. When you want to stop recording your video, press ESC.
  2. On the Save Video screen, under Video Clip Title, type a name for your video.
  3. Under Description, type a description of your video.
  4. To continue your flight, click Resume.
  5. Press ALT, and then click Save Flight on the Flights menu.
  6. On the Save Flight screen, under Title of Flight, type a name for your flight.
  7. Under Description, type a description of your flight.
  8. Click OK.
