SYMPTOMSWhen you update the Work option of an administrative task in the Notify your manager of time you will not be
available for work view in Microsoft Project Web Access
(PWA), the hours for the work that was submitted for the administrative task does not update in the project plan in Microsoft Office Project 2003.CAUSEThis problem occurs after you press BACKSPACE or DELETE (DEL) to remove the hours that were submitted
earlier, and then the project manager accepted the changes.RESOLUTIONHow to obtain the hotfixThis issue is fixed in the Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 post-Service Pack 1 Hotfix Package that is dated January 28, 2005. earlier in the Notify your manager of time you will not be
available for work view. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem in PWA, when you are in the administrative task, type a 0 (zero) in Work in the Notify your manager of time you will not be
available for work view. Do this instead of pressing BACKSPACE or DELETE (DEL) to remove the hours that were submitted earlier. Then, submit your changes.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
