SYMPTOMS
After you install Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 1 (11.1.0), you may receive the following error message when you use Office programs:
Compile error in hidden module: Autoexec
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Move the PDFMaker files to the Trash- In the Finder, locate the following files, and then move them to the Trash:
Hard disk: Applications: Microsoft Office 2004: Office: Startup: Word: PDFMaker.dot Hard disk: Applications: Microsoft Office 2004: Office: Startup: Excel: PDFMaker.xla Hard disk: Applications: Microsoft Office 2004: Office: Startup: PowerPoint: PDFMaker.ppa
- Restart your computer.
Method 2: Reinstall Office 2004 for Mac- Remove Office 2004 for Mac from your computer by using the Remove Office tool.
