Blank pages are printed when you try to print a large drawing in Visio 2003 (892371)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to print a large drawing in Microsoft Office Visio 2003, blank pages are printed.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the width of the drawing is more than 129 inches.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, scale the drawing so that the width of the drawing is equal to or less than 129 inches. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Quit Visio 2003.
  2. Click Start, click Run, type control printers in the Open box, and then click OK.
  3. Right-click the printer, and then click Printing Preferences.
  4. Specify a custom paper size.
  5. Start Visio 2003, and then open the drawing that you want to print.
  6. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
  7. Click the Print Setup tab, and then specify the custom paper size.
  8. Click the Page Size tab, and then specify the page size under Page size. Make sure that the width is equal to or less than 129 inches.
  9. Click OK.
