The objective of this presentation is to help customers understand why they need baselines during production deployments and how to analyze the data that is collected to identify potential areas of problems. We will discuss how to use the Performance Monitoring Tool and the relevant counters that are required to collect data and establish baselines. We will also review the data analysis and cover what counters to review to troubleshoot performance-related issues.

This is a Level 200 session presented by Nicholas Basile.

Nicholas Basile has been a support engineer for the Enterprise Business Applications-Exchange Administration group in Charlotte, NC, since June 2001. His primary focus during the last few years has been performance-related issues in Microsoft Exchange server products.
