This Support WebCast talks about Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and the many new clustering features that it offers. This session discusses these new features. It also provides step-by-step instructions about how to install SQL Server 2005 clustering on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. This WebCast demonstrates all the installation steps using Microsoft Virtual Server configured as a Windows Server 2003 cluster.

This is a Level 200 session presented by Brad McGehee.

Brad McGehee is a SQL Server MVP who holds MCSE+I and MCSD certifications. He currently is a full-time DBA with Dairy Farmer's of America, Inc. He is also the Web master of SQL-Server-Performance.Com, a Web site that specializes in SQL Server performance tuning and SQL Server clustering. SQL-Server-Performance.Com is one of the most popular SQL Server Web sites on the Internet, and has served SQL Server DBAs and developers for nearly five years. Brad was a featured speaker at the SQL PASS Community Summit in 2004. He has been in the IT field since 1981, and has been using SQL Server for more than eight years. For three years, Brad was a full-time MCT with an ATEC, and taught Microsoft certification classes, specializing in SQL Server. He is also the author or co-author of more than 10 computer-related books, including books about SQL Server. He has a BA in Business Administration and Economics, and also an MBA.
