INTRODUCTIONThis article describes information about rolling upgrade support for Microsoft Services for Network File System (NFS) components on Microsoft Windows 2000-based clusters and on Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based clusters. When you run NFS components on a node
that is a member of a cluster, all the following conditions must be true:
- All nodes in the cluster must be running the same version of Windows Server 2003 or of Windows 2000.
- All nodes in the cluster must be running the same version of
Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX or of Services for NFS.
- The Windows operating system must be installed by using the same method on all nodes in the cluster. For example, if one node in the cluster is running a version of Windows Server 2003 that was upgraded from Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows Server 2003 must be installed as an upgrade on all nodes.
