Bug #: 473557 (SQL Server 8.0) Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2000 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2000 fix release. Microsoft SQL Server 2000:
- Automatic database recovery does not
occur when you start SQL Server 2000.
- SQL Server 2000 does not recover a database by using the Transact-SQL Restore command with the Recovery option.
- A user database is marked as suspect.
- An error message that is similar to the following is
logged in the SQL Server 2000 error log:
