SYMPTOMS

You implement a strong password policy on a Microsoft Windows Powered Pocket PC 2003-based device that is running the Dell Switcher Bar program. The Windows Powered Pocket PC 2003-based device is locked out. However, you can still use the Dell Switcher Bar functions, even if the Dell Switcher Bar is hidden behind the Soft Input Panel (SIP).

Note This issue also applies to any OEM application that installs a switcher bar.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you enable the Dell Switcher Bar program on a Windows Powered Pocket PC 2003-based device.
