SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003, if you ignore error messages as you use the Administrator console to try to add an action to an operating system package, the Administrator console may unexpectedly quit. This problem occurs when you try to add the following actions:

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the error messages incorrectly allow you to close the Add Action: Action Name dialog box and to continue to edit the package properties without responding to the error messages.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, click the OK button in the error message before you close the Add Action: ActionName dialog box.
