The "Revenue" option does not use "User Provided" as the default value when you convert a lead to an opportunity in Microsoft CRM 1.2 (891198)

SYMPTOMS

When you convert a lead to an opportunity in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2, the Revenue option uses System Calculated as the default value even though User Provided is set as the default value on the System Customization page.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
