"The file 'ADUC.MSC' cannot be found" error message when you try to start Active Directory Users and Computers from the Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Operator console (891178)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to start Active Directory Users and Computers from the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) Operator console, you may receive the following error message: The command task 'Microsoft Active Directory\Advanced\Active Directory Users and Computers Snap-in' cannot run because the file 'ADUC.MSC' cannot be found. CAUSEThis issue occurs when you have the Active Directory Management Pack installed.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Operations Manager 2005, and then click MOM Administrator Console.
- In the Administrator console, double-click Microsoft Operations Manager (ServerName), double-click Management Packs, double-click Tasks, double-click Microsoft Active Directory, and then click Advanced.
- In the details pane, right-click Active Directory Users and Computers Snap-in, and then click Properties.
- In the Active Directory Users and Computers Snap-in Properties dialog box, click the Details tab.
- On the Details tab, select ADUC.MSC in the Task command line box, right-click ADUC.MSC, and then click Delete.
- Type dsa.msc in the Task command line box, and then click OK.
