- Locate the following registry subkey:

- Add the following entry:

- Value type: REG_DWORD
- Value : 1
- Locate the following regisry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\System\TermService
- Add the following value to the EventMessageFile entry:
;%SystemRoot%\System32\Sp3res.dll
Note Include the semicolon (;).
When you view the event details in Event Viewer after you install the hotfix and add the LogTSSuccess registry entry, an event that is similar to the following is logged in the Security log:
