Xbox: Joining an Xbox Live game in World Championship Poker (890848)

World Championship Poker is an Xbox Live Aware game. An Xbox Live Aware game automatically signs you in to Xbox Live when the game starts.

Join a game

1. On the Main screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button.
2. On the Xbox Live screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Quick Match or OptiMatch, and then press the A button.

Quick Match

With the Quick Match option, you can search for a game session, and then decide whether to join that game session immediately or to search for another game session.

1. After you select Quick Match on the Xbox Live screen, the game immediately starts searching for a game session for you to join.
   • If a game session is found, the game information is listed on the Game Lobby screen. Press the A button to join the game.
   • If no game session is found, you receive the following message: No games were found. Would you like to start?
2. Press the A button for Accept or press the B button for Cancel.

OptiMatch

With the OptiMatch option, you can specify your game preferences and then search for game sessions that match those preferences.

1. On the OptiMatch screen, press the D-pad up or down to select one of the following options, press the D-pad left or right to select the setting for that option, and then press the A button to start searching for game sessions.
   • Game Type: Any, Open Table, Sit & Go
   • Rules: Any, Select from one of the twelve rules available
   • Limits: Any, Limit, Half-Pot, Pot Limit, No Limit
   • Stakes: Any, Select from one of the twenty stakes available
2. If any game sessions are found, press the D-pad up or down to select the game session that you want to join, and then press the A button to join that game.
   
   If no game sessions are found, you receive the following message: No games were found. Would you like to start?
3. Press the A button for Accept or press the B button for Cancel.
