ESPN College Hoops 2K5 is an Xbox Live Aware title. This means that the game automatically signs you in to Xbox Live when the game starts.

Sign in

By default, when the game starts you are automatically signed in to Xbox Live with the last account that was used to sign in to Xbox Live.

To use a different account to sign in to Xbox Live, follow these steps:

1. On the Main screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button. You receive the following message: Going online will result in the loss of any unsaved data. Continue?
2. By default, No is selected. Press the D-pad up or down to select Yes, and then press the A button to view the Xbox Live screen.
3. On the Xbox Live screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Online Desk, and then press the A button.
4. On the Online Desk screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Sign Out, and then press the A button. You receive the following message: This will disconnect you from Xbox Live. Sign out and return to Main Menu?
5. By default, No is selected. Press the D-pad up or down to select Yes, and then press the A button.

   Note You must sign out of Xbox Live and return to the Main screen before you can use a different account to sign in.

6. On the Main screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button. You receive the following message: Going online will result in the loss of any unsaved data. Continue?
7. By default, No is selected. Press the D-pad up or down to select Yes, and then press the A button to view the Xbox Live Sign-In screen.
8. On the Xbox Live Sign-In screen, press the D-pad up or down to select the Gamertag that you want to use, and then press the A button to sign in to Xbox Live.

   Note If you prefer to create a new Xbox Live account, press D-pad up or down to select New Account, and then press the A button to continue to the Xbox Dashboard to create a new account.

9. After you sign in to Xbox Live, you can select from the following options on the Xbox Live screen:
   • Quick Match
   • OptiMatch
   • Create Match
   • Leagues
   • Online Desk
   • Main Menu
