A program that uses the Click-To-Record API may not correctly report scheduling conflicts with Media Center Edition 2005 (890760)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005

SYMPTOMS

If you create a program that uses the Click-To-Record API to let users interact with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, users of the program may experience a problem that is similar to one of the following:
  • On a computer that has a single TV tuner card, the program may report a conflict when a user tries to schedule a TV show for recording at the same time that the tuner is being used. However, the program does not report what TV show the new scheduled recording conflicts with.
  • On a computer that has a dual TV tuner card, the program may report a conflict when a user tries to schedule a third TV show for recording at the same time that two TV shows are already scheduled for recording. However, the program only reports one of the conflicting TV shows. The program does not report both conflicting shows.
