Extended characters do not appear in a role name when you copy that role in Microsoft CRM 1.2 (890600)

SYMPTOMS

When you copy a role in Microsoft CRM 1.2, extended characters in the role name that you want to copy do not appear in the Copy Role -- Web Page Dialog box. You expect the role name to appear correctly when you copy a role.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
