After you install hotfix 870578 in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2, Advanced Find searches that use the On operator return records for the day before the date that you specify.

RESOLUTION

Steps to reproduce this problem

Note The following steps are based on the Australian version of Microsoft CRM 1.2.
  1. Open Microsoft CRM, click Tools, and then click Options. On the Miscellaneous tab, verify that Time Zone is set to (GMT+10) Sydney, and then click OK.
  2. Click Sales, click Account, and then double-click an account to open its record.
  3. Click the Activities tab, create an activity named Yesterday, and then give it a due date of yesterday's date.
  4. Create an activity named Tomorrow, and then give it a due date of tomorrow's date.
  5. Create an activity named Today, and the give it a due date of today's date.
  6. Click Save and Close, click Tools, and then click Advanced Find.
  7. In the Find in list, click Activities, and then click Due Date in the Field list.
  8. In the Condition list, click On in the Value calendar, click yesterday's date, and then click Go.
  9. No records are returned for this search. Use the calendar to change the search value to today's date, and then click Go. The activity named Yesterday is returned.
  10. If you use the calendar to change the search value to tomorrow's date, and then click Go, the activity named Today is returned.
