Xbox: Joining an Xbox Live game in GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (890498)

Join a game

1. On the Main screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) up or down to select Xbox Live, and then press the A button to view the Select A Skin screen.
2. On the Select A Skin screen, press the D-pad left or right to select the skin that you want to use, and then press the A button.
3. Select the appropriate account to sign in to Xbox Live.
4. On the Xbox Live screen, press the D-pad left or right to select Quick Match or OptiMatch, and then press the A button.

Quick Match

With the Quick Match option, you can search for a game and then decide whether to join the game immediately or whether to search for another game.

After you select Quick Match from the Xbox Live screen, the game immediately starts searching for a game to play:

• If a game is found, the Quick Match screen lists the game information. Press the A button to join the game.
• If no game is found, press the X button to create a match, or press the B button to return to the Xbox Live screen.

OptiMatch

With the OptiMatch option, you can specify your game preferences and then search for games that match those preferences.

1. On the OptiMatch screen, press the D-pad up or down to select from the following options:
   • Ranked: Any, No, Yes
   • Game Type: Any, Showdown, Team Showdown, Countdown, Tug-O-War, Domination
   • Rules, Any, Normal, Golden Gun, You Only Live Twice, License To Kill
   • Map: Any, Select from one of twenty-three maps available
   • Map Cycling: Any, No, Yes
   • Friends: Any, With Friends
   • Map Size: Any, 2, 4, 8
   Press the D-pad left or right to select the setting that you want for the option, and then press the A button to start searching for a game.
2. If any games are found, press the D-pad up or down to select the game that you want to join, and then press the A button to join that game.
   
   If no games are found, press the X button to create a match, or press the B button to return to the Xbox Live screen.
