SYMPTOMSAfter you install Microsoft Windows Service Pack 4 (SP4) on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server or Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, the Svchost.exe process that hosts the Network Connections service may leak memory when the computer runs Terminal Services. This memory leak may increase as Terminal Services clients log on and log off Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions.RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes.
