Skip Button Is Disabled in Windows Sound System (89952)

If the first file in a list of files for Sound Finder to play is
nonplayable (for example, the file is corrupted or is an incorrect
format), the Skip button is disabled. However, if the nonplayable file
is not the first in the list, the Skip button is enabled.
You must choose the Stop button to stop play in this situation, or
play the entire list of selected files.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows Sound System
versions 1.0 and 1.0a. This problem was corrected in Windows Sound System
version 2.0.
