Zipping requests are when e-mail messages with zipped attachments are scanned for viruses.WORKAROUNDWarning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. To work around this problem, disable zipping requests. To do this, follow these steps:
Follow these steps, and then quit Registry Editor:
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
- Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ Microsoft\ Microsoft Office Outlook Connector - On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD value.
- Type ZipRequestDisabled, and then press ENTER.
- On the Edit menu, click Modify.
- Type 1, and then click OK.
