SYMPTOMSYou cannot capture or use a CD in Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 or in Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 Service
Pack 1 (SP1).
If
you clickUse Physical Drive drive letter: on the CD menu,
where drive letter is your CD drive, Virtual PC 2004 will not be able to capture or use the CD.CAUSEThis problem occurs if you have the following CD programs
installed on your computer:
- Nero InCD 4 by Ahead Software.
- Roxio DirectCD for Windows by Roxio, Inc.
- Roxio DirectCD for Windows version 2.x or later versions by Roxio, Inc.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, you must disable or remove these
programs from the host operating system. For more information about
