You receive an error message and Works 8.0 stops responding if you delete a contact in your Windows Address Book and then try to view your contacts in the Works Task Launcher (889507)

SYMPTOMS

If you delete a contact in your Windows Address Book and then try to view your contacts in the Works Task Launcher, Microsoft Works 8.0 may stop responding. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Works 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

CAUSE

This issue may occur in the Polish version of Works 8.0 if you start the Works Task Launcher before you delete the contact in the Windows Address Book.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, close the Windows Address Book before you switch back to the Works Task Launcher.
