This Support WebCast technical presentation will describe how to use Internet Protocol security (IPsec) to isolate and help protect Microsoft Windows servers in an Active Directory environment. This WebCast will focus on the features and benefits of using IPsec server isolation. The presentation will discuss a simplified configuration of IPsec policy for server isolation. It will also provide an analysis of the different types of communication. This WebCast will talk about some basic guidelines for deploying server isolation.

This is a Level 200 session presented by Joseph Davies.

Joseph Davies is a technical writer in the Windows Networking and Devices group. He came to Microsoft in 1991. He writes white papers, technical articles, Microsoft Press books, and the monthly TechNet Cable Guy column. Joseph has been teaching and writing about Windows networking technologies for the last 12 years.
