To increase the performance of Zoo Tycoon 2, try one or more of the following methods in the order that they are listed.
Method 1: Create new game

the more objects you have that require some action; the more the computer will have to do. So, the more animals, people, cars, etc, you have, the more resources the game will take. If you have a huge map with lots of different objects, try creating a new map and see how the game is performing. If new game is working then you know that your saved game has too many objects.
