Setup stops responding during the GUI-mode Plug and Play enumeration phase when you try to install Windows 2000 (889317)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Microsoft Windows 2000, Setup stops responding during the graphical user interface (GUI)-mode Plug and Play enumeration phase.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if your computer uses an add-on PCI adaptor that has an integrated PCI-to-PCI bridge and graphics adaptor.

RESOLUTION
