A Stop error 0xD1 in the Tcpip.sys file occurs when you run Microsoft Windows 2000 on computer that has multiple processors (889174)

SYMPTOMS

When you run Microsoft Windows 2000 on computer that has multiple processors, Windows 2000 may stop unexpectedly. You receive a Stop error message that is similar to the following:
STOP: 0x000000D1 (Parameter_1, Parameter_2, Parameter_3, Parameter_4 )
Typically, you receive this error message on computers that have four to eight processors.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Tcpip.sys file contains debug code that cannot run correctly on a computer that has multiple processors.
