SYMPTOMS
When you click the
Hide Menu Bar button in Microsoft Windows Media Player 10, the button may not work as expected.
For example, assume that the following conditions are true:
- Windows Media Player is maximized.
- You press ALT+TAB to switch from the Windows Media Player window to another window. Then, you press ALT+TAB to switch back to the Windows Media Player window.
The
Hide Menu Bar button now appears on the Title bar. However, when you click the
Hide Menu Bar button in this scenario, nothing happens.
Additionally, when you click
Show Menu Bar on the
Access application menus list, the Windows Media Player bar that typically appears directly below the Menu bar disappears. Also, the
Hide Menu Bar button appears on the Title bar. Then, when you click the
Hide Menu Bar button, the Windows Media Player bar reappears. However, the Menu bar is not hidden as expected.
Note You cannot hide the Menu bar while Windows Media Player is maximized.
