article describes the Project 2003 issue that is fixed in the Project
2003 post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package that is dated November 9,
2004.

This
hotfix package fixes the following issue. The issue was not previously
documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article.
When you move or copy a Project 2003
project to a network share that is three or more levels deep, the Subproject file path and any dynamic links inside the
project are not updated to the new location. For example, the following network share is three levels deep:
\\server_name\share_name\sub_folder
