SYMPTOMSAfter you send a message that does not contain any text in the Subject box from a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 mailbox, the message may be lost. Additionally, you do not receive a non-delivery report (NDR).
When you track the message, you find that the message reached the message categorizer before it was lost.
CAUSEThis issue may occur when Symantec Mail Security 4.x for Microsoft Exchange is installed on a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, obtain and install an updated version of Mail Security 4.x for Microsoft Exchange.
