SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, when you call the Activity Model Designer API GetActivityFlowInfo method to obtain Human Workflow Services (HWS) activity flow information, you may receive an HwsServiceSoapException exception error message.
Typically, this problem occurs after you add an activation block to an activity flow that contains more than one step and then you immediately call the GetActivityFlowInfo method.CAUSEThis problem occurs when the tracking information is not available because of a latency issue. Therefore, when you call the GetActivityFlowInfo method immediately after you add the activation block, an exception is returned because the activity flow information is not yet available.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, you must wait for a while after you add the activation block and before you call the GetActivityFlowInfo method.
