SYMPTOMS

Knowledge Consistency Checker generates nTDSConnection objects that use the default replication options and the default time interval instead of the values that are configured on the site link bridge. This symptom occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You are using a site link bridge with replication options or time intervals.
  • There is no direct site link between the two sites that are linked by the site link bridge.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the replication options and time interval information are not copied to the site link bridge configuration.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, raise the forest functional level to either of the following levels:
  • Windows Server 2003 Interim
  • Windows Server 2003
