SYMPTOMS

You install Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. After you restart your computer, one of the following symptoms may occur:
  • The computer fails at the Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio .NET startup screen and you must perform a hard restart to continue.
  • You receive an error message on a blue screen and you must restart the computer.
  • Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio .NET may throw an unhandled exception error and close.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the driver for your Savage S3-based video card is outdated.
