SYMPTOMSWhen you print a project plan to a .pdf file in Microsoft Office Project 2003, the bottom part of the plan is overprinted on the top part of the plan.
Note This issue also occurs when you view the project plan in Print Preview and the Adobe PDFWriter printer driver is the selected printer.CAUSEThis issue occurs when the project plan contains approximately 250 or more tasks.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Change the page setup for the Adobe PDFWriterTo do this, follow these steps: - On the File menu in Project 2003, click Print.
- In the Print dialog box, under Printer, click Properties.
- On the Page Setup tab, under Orientation, click Portrait.
- Under Page Size, click Standard, and then click either Legal (8.5 x 14 in) or Tabloid (11 x 17 in).
- Click OK two times.
Method 2: Change the resolutionTo do this, follow these steps: - On the File menu in Project 2003, click Print.
- In the Print dialog box, under Printer, click Properties.
- On the Page Setup tab, under Graphic, click a lower DPI value such as 150 dpi in the Resolution box.
- Click OK two times.
