The Readme.txt file that is included with the Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) Deployment Tools contains incorrect information (888371)

INTRODUCTION

The Readme.txt file that is included with the Deployment Tools (Deploy.cab) in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) contains the following incorrect note:

You cannot run Sysprep.exe on an installation of Windows XP SP1 that was upgraded to Windows XP SP2 using Update.exe. Sysprep can be run only on integrated ("slipstreamed") Windows installations.

We do support using the System Preparation Tool (Sysprep.exe) to create a Windows XP image on a computer that is upgraded from Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) to Windows XP SP2.
