FIX: The Value Extractor functoid may return a value that is not correct when BizTalk Server 2004 is under a heavy load (888309)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Enterprise Edition
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Partner Edition
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Developer Edition

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 XML Mapper Database Lookup functoid with the Value Extractor functoid in BizTalk Server 2004, the value that is extracted from the record set column may not be correct. This problem occurs when the system is under a heavy load.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Database Lookup functoid does not use local thread storage when the functoid stores the record set results. The cached record set may be overwritten when the system is under a heavy load, and the extracted value may not be correct.
