Paused video plays in slow motion when you press FWD on the remote in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 (888067)

SYMPTOMS

When you press the Fast Forward button (FWD) on the remote while video is paused in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, the video plays in slow motion without audio.

CAUSE

In Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, you can access the slow motion feature by pressing FWD on the remote while video is paused. When you press FWD on the remote while video is paused in earlier versions of Media Center, nothing happens.

Note Press PLAY to restore the video to normal-speed playback with audio.
