You receive a "The SCSI settings could not be saved" error message or a "The hard drive settings could not be saved" error message when you try to configure the settings of a Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 virtual machine (888026)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to configure the settings of a Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 virtual machine, one of the following issues occurs: - When you click to select the Share SCSI bus for clustering check box under SCSI Adapter Properties, you receive the following error message:
The SCSI settings could not be saved. A SCSI adapter cannot be attached to a shared bus for clustering when undo drives are enabled. These two features are mutually exclusive. - When you click to select the Enable undo disks check box under Virtual Hard Disk Properties, you receive the following error message:
The hard drive settings could not be saved. Undo drives cannot be enabled if you have a SCSI adapter on a shared bus. These two features are mutually exclusive.
CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Share SCSI Bus for Clustering feature and the Undo Disks feature are not compatible. You cannot use these features at the same time on the same virtual machine.
