Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article.
  • You cannot specify alternate text for an image when you add an Image Web Part

When you add an Image Web Part to a Web page, there is not an option to specify alternate text in an ALT attribute for the image. Therefore, when you move the pointer over the image in the Image Web Part, the ToolTip that appears on the screen displays the URL or path for the image.
  • When you click a list item after you remove a filter from the view, the image for that list item is not displayed, and then you receive a "No image available" error message

You publish a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 form to a Windows SharePoint Services form library. You use the InfoPath 2003 form to submit data and images to the form library. You create a custom Web Part page that contains an Image Web Part. The Image Web Part is connected with a List View Web Part to display the data and the images. You filter the list to display only certain data, and then you click All to remove the filter. When you click an item in the list, the image for that item is not displayed. You receive an error message that is similar to the following:
    No image available
