SYMPTOMS

The images in an .MHT Merchant file no longer appear after you move the file to a new location in Microsoft Windows 2000.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

You created the file by using Microsoft Collaboration Data Objects for Windows 2000 (CDOSYS) with the CreateMHTMLBody method.
When you created the .MHT file, the path for the images were to a local drive.
When you created the .MHT file, the path for the images had a space or a "20%" space character.
After you created the .HMT file, you moved the file to another location where the original path to the local drive no longer exists.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
