FIX: The build fails when you try to rebuild the Windows CE 5.0 operating system kernel (887702)

SYMPTOMS

If you try to rebuild the Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system kernel by using the shared source files that are provided in Microsoft Platform Builder 5.0, the build fails with several fatal errors regarding missing files. For example, you may rebuild the kernel for private debugging purposes.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because source and header files that you must have for a complete rebuild of the operating system kernel are not in Platform Builder 5.0.
