A Microsoft Excel workbook is available that contains a list of the OneNote 2003 post-Service Pack 1 issues that are fixed by OneNote 2003 SP2.

List of issues that the service pack fixes
OneNote 2003 SP2 fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
Notes are not published to a UNC locationWhen you publish your notes to a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) location, such as \\
sharename\
foldername, your notes are not published. Additionally, the .mht file is saved with a file size of 0 (zero) bytes.
The Stationery task pane does not open when you download a new templateWhen you download a new OneNote 2003 template from Microsoft Office Online, the
New task pane opens. To use the new template that you downloaded, you must open the
Stationery task pane. After you install this service pack, the
Stationery task pane automatically opens when you download a new OneNote 2003 template.
The ActiveX download control is updatedThis service pack updates the ActiveX download control that downloads new templates for OneNote 2003 from Microsoft Office Online.

Known issues during the installation of the service pack
When you try to install OneNote 2003 SP2, you receive an error message.

If you update your administrative installation point and then recache and reinstall OneNote 2003 on client computers, you can run a command line that includes the
