SUMMARY

This article lists the Microsoft .NET Framework bugs that are fixed in the .NET Framework 1.1 Post Service Pack 1 rollup package for System.messaging.dll. Each package contains all the fixes that were released in the previous .NET Framework rollup packages.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

This hotfix fixes the following issue.

  • 884899 BUG: A memory leak may occur in an application that is built by using the .NET Framework 1.1 when the MessageQueue.Peek method throws an exception

This hotfix fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • The PeekMessage function in Microsoft Message Queuing leaks memory when an exception occurs.
