New custom stationery is not saved to the My Stationery category in OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1 (886951)

SYMPTOMSWhen you create and save new custom stationery in Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the stationery is not saved to the My Stationery category on the Stationery task pane.CAUSEThis issue occurs if you download stationery from Stationery on Office Online before you create and save new custom stationery in OneNote 2003 SP1. The Stationery on Office Online link is located on the Stationery task pane.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, follow these steps: - Quit OneNote 2003.
- In Windows Explorer, locate the following folder:
drive:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates Note In the folder name, drive is the hard disk drive on which you have OneNote 2003 installed, and username is the name of the user on the computer. - In the Templates folder, create a new folder named Temp. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click the Templates folder.
- On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
- Type Temp, and then press ENTER.
- Move all files that have the .one file name extension in the Templates folder to the new Temp folder that you created in step 3.
- Start OneNote 2003.
- Create your new custom stationery.
- On the Stationery task pane, click Save current page as stationery to save your new custom stationery.
Note A new My Stationery category will be added to the Stationery task pane. Your new custom stationery will be saved to the My Stationery category. - Quit OneNote 2003.
- In Windows Explorer, locate the Templates folder that was specified in step 2.
- Move the files that have the .one file name extension in the Temp folder back to the Templates folder.
